The center of the municipality is the town of Suvorovo. It is 34 kilometres north - west of the city of Varna, 56 kilometres southwest of the town of Dobrich and 59 kilometres east of the town of Shumen. The general area of the municipality is 216 square kilometres, as the area under cultivation is 61 percent, woods and forests are 15 percent, water areas (dam lakes) are  0, 3 % and 4, 3 % of the territory is  occupied by roads. Its altitude is up to 200-300 metres. The winds are predominantly with north, northeast and northwest directions. Actually, these directions of the winds do not let the harmful emissions pass from the chemical factories situated in Devnya Valley. The region of the town of  Suvorovo is one of the populated places in Bulgaria with the biggest number of sunny days per year.
The lack of industrial enterprises determines the production of fruit and vegetables with high quality. The ecologically clean region, the cool summer and the mild winter offer opportunities for recreation and tourism.
The favourable relief and the adjacency to a big economic, administrative and educational centre are in the ground of the relatively well developed transport system of the Municipality Suvorovo - asphalt roads to all populated places, a railroad line for connection with the towns of Varna and Dobrich. The water–supply network, the electricity supply, the telephone exchange and the coverage of the mobile operators make the living conditions in the municipality comfortable.
The social infrastructure - educational institutions, kindergartens, cultural centres, clubs, healthcare facilities, offices, administrative servicing and others create conditions for fulfilled and meaningful life of the people living there.
The educational institutions are represented by a vocational secondary school, a school of general education in the town of Suvorovo and two elementary schools.
The municipality develops its enlightened and  cultural activities by four libraries- two in the town of Suvorovo, one library in village Chernevo and another one in village Nikolaevka, a cultural centre “Probuda” in the town of Suvorovo and six more cultural centres in  the villages: Chernevo, Nikolaevka, Levski, Drundar, Kalimantsi and Izgrev.
The municipality residents are 7686 and they live in 9 populated places. They are: Suvorovo, Chernevo, Banovo, Prosechen, Nikolaevka, Levski, Drundar, Kalimantsi.
