Village of Banovo
Population: 81 people.
Banovo village is 21 km from Varna, only 15 km from Varna airport. There is a Natural Phenomenon - “Pobiti Kamani” (the Petrified Forest) close by. The village has a very well developed viticulture. The soil is good and appropriate for growing a lot of agricultural plants. The village tourism is in progress.
It offers:
1. Ecologically clean environment, breathtaking view to the town of Varna, Varna lake and the place “Pobiti Kamani”.
2. The Banovo group of the Pobiti Kamani (the Petrified Forest).
3. Village Banovo is connected to the "Barite" complex (village Chernevo) by a tourist route.
4. An orthodox temple devoted to all saints is under construction and there is an annual fair in their honour.
5. Reconstruction of the school is being performed at the moment. It will be converted into Cultural Club. A hotel with a restaurant is going to be build there.
